I’m a writer of literary novels and short stories with a distinctly Catholic worldview. I’ve made three complete trips through In Search of Lost Time–a family record—but I also love contemporary literature, including Aimee Bender, Miriam Toews, Nicole Krauss, Cynthia Ozick and Rachel Cusk. Some of my favorite discoveries over the past year have been reissues from the New York Review of Books: W.G. Sebold, Anna Seghers, and Teffi. I strive to read fifty to sixty books a year, and I enjoy writing book reviews.
